Non-Profit COVID-19 Survey

Local Nonprofit Leaders,

With the current COVID-19 pandemic, communities are reliant on the essential services provided by many of Wisconsin’s nonprofit organizations. Many nonprofits are experiencing increased demands. At the same time, other nonprofits are experiencing a different reality. Extension is working with a number of partners to better understand how the nonprofit sector is being impacted.

The Helen Bader Institute for Nonprofit Management, along with other UW Systems partners, are conducting a comprehensive statewide assessment with the goal of identifying challenges on a community, regional, and state-wide level, in order to provide real-time data for government officials, foundations, and other decision-makers on the current economic conditions facing organizations such as yours.

Extension will work with those conducting the survey to examine the findings and use that information to inform ways in which we can support our nonprofit partners throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and into the coming years of recovery.

We are asking that one person in your organization, preferably someone with knowledge of the organization’s budget and finances, take time between now and April 26th to complete the survey. The expected completion time is 7-10 minutes. The survey is most easily completed online through the following link – take survey.

If you are unable to complete the survey online, it can be made available to you in other forms by contacting Bryce Lord, Associate Director, HBI at balord@uwm.edu.

Thank you for helping us better understand nonprofit needs.
