Jointly sponsored by UW Madison Division of Extension’s Conservation Professional Training Program and Wisconsin DNR, these workshops are designed for livestock operations near or at WPDES permit size (CAFOs) — owners/management and key staff, their agronomic and engineering consultants, and agency staff and others who work with these operations.

NEW for 2025:
* The technical engineering topics have been moved to a separate pre-event session and are offered only in 2 locations: Green Bay (Jan. 28) and Mauston (Feb 11). The registration fee includes one or both sessions and lunch on these dates. The technical engineering sessions are open and to non-engineers.            

* Locations have been changed based on participant feedback. 

Registration fee (per person): $46 advanced registration. $10 late fee applied if registering after the Thursday before the event.

Cancellations received the Thursday before the event can receive a full refund upon request, or credit to a later session. No refund for cancellations after the Thursday before. No price adjustments for no meal or partial attendance.

Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email within 2-3 days.

More than one ATTENDEE? You may use one form to register everyone from the same business/farm attending a single location, paying at the end. If you have staff attending different locations, complete one form for each location.
