The La Crosse county 4H Youth Ambassadors are sponsoring a Pumpkin Carving & Decorating Contest! The pumpkins will be judged by La Crosse County Employees and Residents at County Nursing Homes.
Agri-View is featuring the Next Generation of Agriculture in photos. Seniors who graduated in 2020 are our priority but they will feature photos of anyone still in school or having just graduated from school who is involved in the agricultural industry.

Children need reassurance and age-appropriate factual information to deal with their anxieties. While the scope of the coronavirus pandemic is unprecedented, parents have always helped their children cope with fears, and have good instincts that help them do so.
As this pandemic continues, it’s important we be strong and united in other ways. Our county office will continue to offer programming and opportunities for feedback and growth as always. Please see these opportunities below.
Extension La Crosse County is committed to keeping those we serve safe and healthy. In order to keep this commitment, at the directive of UW-Madison Chancellor, Rebecca Blank, all UW Madison events of 50 or more people, including the Division of Extension (including all WI 4-H programs) are cancelled effective immediately (Thursday, March 12, 2020), due to COVID-19, also known as the Corona virus. The health and safety of our participants, presenters, volunteers, and community is our most important priority. Please keep an eye out for any event cancellations that you may have registered for.
The Wisconsin 4-H Foundation will award more than $10,000 in scholarships to outstanding Wisconsin students pursuing higher education in 2017.
