May 2026

May 14th, 2026

Announcements:
We are starting to organize a county-wide calendar! The goal is to have all county events, club and project meetings accessible on this one calendar for the 2026-2027 program year.  You will be able to sort by topic and sync this calendar to your own or select which events to add.

The Food Stand is looking for a donation of a heavy duty 2-wheel cart or dolly. Please email Emily Crook if you have one to give.

A special note: Bear with us this summer as try various methods of communication to meet your needs. Change is hard, and I want to make note that we are trying various things; not committing to them until the Fall. A lot depends on your feedback! While we try things, please be sure to fill out our Communication Feedback Formand let us know things: maybe you’re missing something or emails are too much too often. We want to know.

For June: We intend to only email this bi-weekly newsletter. There are a few families who prefer only printed newsletters. We plan to print this out with a fun activity for kids to complete on the back and mail one copy per family.  If you are not one of the 5 families already on this list and would like a printed newsletter mailed to you, please fill out the Communication Feedback Form with the address you’d like it sent to. If you do not do this, we will not mail you a June Newsletter. Please do this by May 20th, if you’d like this sent for June, otherwise, you’ll be put on the list for July’s mailing.

We appreciate your patience as we continue to update our website and try out these methods of communication that help us streamline information for you AND us. We hope you find these changes helpful!

Sincerely,
Emily Crook & Andrea Thill
