The La Crosse County Economic Development Fund committee has released its semi-annual Econowatch.  This publication helps illustrate existing economic conditions regarding employment, economic competitiveness, and varying economic related conditions affecting La Crosse County and Western Wisconsin.  These data sets offer a snapshot of La Crosse County as it currently exists and attempts to illustrate issues with potential of impacting the our economy such as the cost of child care, our aging work force, and the propensity of various industries to transition to automation.
